Many people have made Newport Beach, California home, and it's easy to see why! The city itself is made up of several unique villages: Balboa Island, Balboa Peninsula, Cannery Village, Corona del Mar, Fashion Island, Lido Marina Village, Mariner's Mile and Upper Newport Bay.

Balboa Island: This island community boasts more than 70 gift shops, art galleries and a wide variety of restaurants. Waterfront homes with spectacular views can be bought or rented.

Balboa Peninsula: Take a short drive or ferry ride over to The Peninsula. Here you'll find many local attractions such as the Fun Zone and the boardwalk as well as historical sites including the Rendezvous Ballroom and the Balboa Pavilion.

Cannery Village: This Newport Beach village is an eclectic mix of restaurants, art galleries and quaint shops. Sea breezes and harbor activity add to the ambiance of this seaside community

Corona del Mar: Also known as the “Crown of the Sea,” Corona del Mar hosts some of Southern California's most scenic beaches. It's also renowned for its mile-long shopping district.

Fashion Island: Take in a truly unique shopping experience on Fashion Island. With over 200 specialty stores, restaurants, a seven-screen movie theatre, and scenic grounds, there's never a shortage of things to do.

Lido Marina Village: This unique village is home to various cafés, yacht tours and upscale boutiques with a European flare

Mariners Mile: The nautical theme of this village extends beyond mere ambiance. Charter a yacht to tour around Newport Bay and Newport Harbor, or book a gondola ride through the canals.

Oregon Coast Newport: This area is known for its fully developed resort communities that offer small coast town ambiance. One of its most popular attractions is the Oregon Coast Aquarium Newport.

Upper Newport Bay: This coastal wetland is an eco-haven for nature lovers. It is one of few estuaries (a place where fresh and salt water meet and mix) remaining in Southern California. Enjoy bird watching, biking, hiking and fishing here.
